South West Summer Itinerary

To celebrate the new L.A.S. Vino Cellar door opening in December. We have written a simple wine & food focused itinerary for a weekend in the south west, written by someone who lives here. A guide of where to drink and dine in Margaret River this summer.

If you would like to taste and purchase L.A.S. Vino please visit us at 4051 Caves Rd Wilyabrup (Pierro Cellar Door). Wines will be available to taste Friday-Sunday with wines available to purchase all other days.


1. Albertas -Ex Noma head chef , local seasonal produce, fantastic.

2. Coffeeheads - Ex-top chef of WA/Vasse Felix doing fantastic takeaway coffee/treats.

3. Banksia Tavern - great tunes/ great vibes.

4. Shelter Brewing - on the beach, ice cold beers.

5. Rocky Ridge Taproom - Beer tasting in his gran's old house.

6. Ooze and Tang- super fun/smart food dinner option.

7. Claudio Bakehouse & Mano Wraps: For quick delicious takeaway lunch options.


1. Bungalow Social - Pizzas/ Gluten free pizzas/ Vino good too, great vibes.

2. Eagle Bay Brewery - Overlooking the ocean, great for kids, icy cold beers.

3. Merchant and Maker - Coffee and the paper.

4. Bunkers Beach Cafe - Fish on the beach (lunch).

b. Deep Woods - Lot of gold medals , award winning winemakers.


1. Yallingup Store - Good sausage rolls and buns.

2. Lagoon Yallingup - great coffee and lunch.

3. Swings - Family friendly pizza for lunch.

4. Chows Table - Epic malay inspired food for lunch

b. Valu du Venom -small scale/ high quality/ new

c. Credaro estate - larger, fantastic vineyards

d. Windows estate - precise winemaking, fantastic wines

Ask for L.A.S. Vino on Friday-Sunday. There's a few bottles under the counter.

d. Woodlands: Great reds also the best cheese in Margaret river.

e. Larry Cherubino - Taste W.A. lots of wines.

6. Mosswood: Worth booking for a tour and tasting.

7. Juniper & Thompson estate

3. The Cowaramup Bowls club. -Coldest swan draft in WA

4. Beerfarm - Epic lunch option, family friendly, good vibes

5. Farmers market in the park out the back every second Sunday.
