2023 Vintage: A Decade of Passion and Creativity
With the completion of the 2023 vintage, we celebrate a milestone that fills us with pride: ten years of L.A.S. Vino. What began as a side project in 2013 has grown into a decade-long passion for crafting wines that express the quality and diversity of Margaret River's fruit.
At L.A.S. Vino, we've always believed that winemaking should be about more than just a job. We wanted to make wine as long as we were still having fun, and a decade on, we're still having a blast. Through the years, we've earned some accolades we're pretty proud of, including:
2016 Young Winemaker of the Year by Gourmet Traveller
2018 Young Gun of Wine Top 12 by Young Gun of Wine
2022 Top 100 Wineries of Australia by The Real Review
2022 Dark Horse Winery of the Year by Halliday's Wine Companion
But it's not just the awards that make us happy. The best part of the last ten years has been the people we've met along the way. Wine has the power to bring people together, and we've had the privilege of meeting incredible individuals in this industry - warm, friendly, and passionate people who share our love for wine.
And it's not just the industry folks who have made this journey worthwhile. It's the people who drink our wines - curious, smart, kind, and supportive individuals from all over the world. They keep our dream alive and allow us to keep doing what we love every day.
We're grateful for the past decade and excited for what's to come. Here's to another ten years of passion, creativity, and great wine. Cheers!"
Finally I always get asked my favourite wines over the years. After a little thought here they are:
