2025 Single Vineyard Chardonnay
THREE VINEYARDS. ONE VARIETY. A MASTERCLASS IN PLACE.
The 2025 vintage gave us three single-vineyard Chardonnays, each grown within Margaret River and each one a completely different wine.
That's the point.
Wildberry Springs comes from a 30-year-old Gin Gin clone vineyard in the heart of Willyabrup, grown on rich gravelly loam soils and fermented in a combination of clay amphora and barrel. It's precise, pure and cellarworthy. Layered with peach, lemon, lime and a signature flinty minerality that has earned it scores of 95–97 points from critics including Robert Parker's Wine Advocate and Halliday's Wine Companion across successive vintages.
Barrels of Metricup draws from a certified organic Gin Gin clone vineyard in Metricup, where sandy loam soils over mottled clay produce a richer, more powerful bold wine. Fermented and aged entirely in barrel with full malolactic fermentation, delivering warmth, weight and generous stone fruit with a citrus-driven freshness.
And then there's the Southern Seas a brand new addition to the L.A.S. Vino portfolio, sourced from the cooler southern tip of the cape near Karridale, where the Indian and Southern Oceans combine to shape a longer, cooler growing season. The result is something bracingly different: Granny Smith apple, sea salt, wet stone and lemon-lime brightness, silky-smooth and Chablis-like in its precision.
Three vineyards, three soil types, three expressions of how diverse Margaret River chardonnay can be. The chardonnay's normally sell out quite quickly and we have a limited quantity. This will be the only chance to purchase all of the single vineyard wines together in one box.
